How I got started in automation consulting

Up until 2017, I'd never really heard or thought about the idea of business automation.

Then, while running a marketplace business for language teachers (that ultimately failed), I discovered Zapier while on a mission to find a way to scale my operations without needing to do more work myself on hire someone.

I dived deep, teaching myself everything about Zapier and became obsessive about automating every last thing in my business.

I was eager for more, and had the vague idea that other businesses might want me to work the same magic for their business. So I set up on Upwork and Fiverr and had my first project in a few days.

I didn't look back, and have spent the last 5 years planning, building, maintaining (and fixing) zaps for businesses of all shapes and sizes. It's been fun!
